How does dog training help?
If you're looking for dog training advice, I can help you. I've been an obedience instructor and canine behavioral consultant for over 30 years. Every day I receive over thirty or forty emails from owners asking me for dog training information. I really want to help all these people, but it's hard when you're just one person and there are only so many hours in the day! Some owners want to know about puppy training, especially house training. They call it potty training or housebreaking or crate training, but it means the same thing -- they want their puppy to stop going to the bathroom on the floor. Other owners have an adult dog who is acting hyper or misbehaving, perhaps a behavior problem such as barking, pulling on the leash, or jumping on people. I can't possibly answer all of these emails, but I've written a dog training book in which I share with you my training advice, recommendations, and guidance for raising your dog. It's the dog training program I use with my own dogs, so it's the same advice you would get if you were asking me face-to-face. And since my writing style is conversational -- I like to write as though I'm sitting across the table talking to you -- reading my book will be like having your own private obedience instructor -- having ME -- in your own home.
