What is an ebook?
Ebook is short for "electronic" book – a digital file that you read on your computer screen. It's also called an instant download, because a few clicks with your mouse is all it takes to "download" and save the book on your computer.
Eight advantages of ebooks
1. Ebooks provide immediate information.
You came to the Internet to find information RIGHT NOW. That's exactly what you get with an instant download. You can order your ebook right now and start reading within minutes.
2. You can jump quickly to the topic you want to read about.
A clickable Table of Contents (called Bookmarks) takes you instantly to whatever subject you're interested in. It's just like clicking a link on a web site.
3. You can search for any word or phrase.
...and you'll be taken right to that page.
4. You can change the size of the print so it's comfortable for you to read.
With the click of a button you can make the print size smaller or larger. Everyone in your family can choose a different size print.
5. You can print your ebook, if you want.
Print the entire book, or just the pages you're interested in.
6. Ebooks are kind to trees.
7. Ebooks are inexpensive.
8. You pay no shipping.

If your mouse has only one mouse button, you may be able to simply click that button and the file will automatically download to your Desktop or to a "Downloads" folder. Or you can hold down the Control button on your keyboard when you click on the blue link, which may allow you to save the file wherever you choose.
When you open the test file, be sure you're opening it with Adobe Reader. Some Macs will open PDF files with a program called Preview. Adobe Reader is much better.
